What is a period????

When will my first period come?? Since you first heard the word "period," you've probably been wondering what it is and when you'd get your first period. Although most girls get their first period between 11-14 years old, you could start your period anywhere from 8-17 years old.You could narrow that down by taking clues from your body. During puberty, when your body becomes sexually mature, you'll have some of these changes that show your period's on its way. (By the way, these changes may happen in a different order than listed here.)Developing Breasts. First, you'll get breast "buds". (Your breasts then can take up to 3-4 years to fully develop.) Generally you will get your period 2-3 years after your breasts start developing. Growing Pubic Hair. Right after your breasts start to form, you'll start developing pubic hair. It will be soft and thin at first, then gradually become coarser. Your period usually arrives around 1-2 years after the hair development. Discharge. This is the big sign. You'll start to experience vaginal discharge that will be either white or yellowish. If you like, you may want to start using Alldays Pantiliners to protect you underwear. You period should start around 6-12 (but up to 18) months after the start of discharge. There's one more way to figure out when you'll start menstruating: Ask your mom. You'll probably get your period within a year or so of when she got hers.Since you'll only have a general idea of when you'll get your period, you might want to do some planning. Most girls will use pads at least for their first period. Your first period will probably be fairly light so Always Thin Maxi Regular or Always Thin Ultra Regular would be a good choice of pad. If you are physically small, you may want to consider Always Thin Ultra Slender. It's a good idea to keep a pad or two hidden in your locker at school, and carry another in your backpack. This way you won't be caught off guard when it does happen.
Relax, you will get your period, and you'll have them for a long time!

What to pack for the holidays :)

heya girlz!! lucy here sorry I've been away doing exams but now I'm back!!!
ok so its getting to that time of the year where people start organizing going either abroad or even just driving somewhere for their holidays so I'm going to help!! I'm going to america in july so I'm going to tell you what I'm going to bring and what you could add or take away but most of the stuff you would wanna keep in the bag lol :) so lets get started!!!

1. clothes: obvious but you would be surprised how many people forget to put in their favorite top or their swimsuit or even something as simple as your socks!!! always check you've enough for how ever long you plan to stay there
take me for example: I'm going for 10 days so ill pack around 4 of everything just in case and of course you can always do washing abroad!! even if theres no washing machine !! just buy some soap ( made for washing clothes ) and do it in the bath or sink SIMPLE!!

2. technology: iPods iPads pcs phones WHATEVER but be sure that you know what you're bringing and that you are prepared if it gets lost stolen or even broken!! BE CAREFUL!!!! i only take my phone and my camera/ camcorder  sometimes my pc aswel but not all the time!!!1 like i said BE CAREFUL!!!!

3. make up: weather your at the beach or in the mountains you'll want make up!!! if you don't bring it you'll regret it!! but then again don't go over the top! bring what you want but you don't want your whole bag full of blushers and eye liners!!
this is what id bring : lip stick (natural kind) clear lip gloss, glittery lip gloss, eye shadow palette, blusher, mascara, eyeliner and fountain maybe but i don't really wear it... lol

4. toiletries: toothbrush, hairbrush, hand sanitizer and floss are ok but airlines won't let you take on more then 100ml of liquid  so be careful!! what i do is buy my stuff in the new country that means less hassle and i won't have to take it all out at the check in. also ditch it all when its time to come back cause nothing in you house is just going to justVANISH!!!

5. "girly supplies" : lets face it were all girls here and we all either already got "that special time of the month" or waiting for it but we all wanna be prepared!! even if its not that time, still keep some pads, liners or tampons with you at ALL times!! you never know whats going to happen!!! also make sure you have some wipes with you just incase :)

so thats it i guess thanks for reading and I'm sure to make more vids posts and tolls soon :)
also if  your any requests leave them in the comments below it really does help
thank you so much love, Lucy :) <3
